CAAGER Privacy Policy (iOS)

CAAGER is a calorie estimation app for iOS that uses your device camera to photograph meal receipts and food items, then returns calorie, carbohydrate, protein, and fat estimates. This Privacy Policy explains what information CAAGER processes, how it is used, and what choices you have.

Information We Process

• Photos and images you capture or select from your photo library for calorie analysis.
• Meal scan history and nutrition data stored locally on your device.
• Profile name and profile picture stored locally on your device.
• Purchase status information provided by Apple App Store when you buy or restore a Premium subscription.
• Basic technical data such as device/network metadata handled by advertising infrastructure providers (Google AdMob).

How We Use Information

• Analyze food photos to estimate calorie and nutrition content using on-device AI models.
• Display your meal history and nutrition summaries within the app.
• Process Premium subscription purchases and restore access through Apple App Store.
• Serve advertisements to free-tier users through Google AdMob.

On-Device Processing

Food recognition and calorie estimation in CAAGER is performed entirely on your device using a local AI model. Your food photos are not sent to any external server for analysis.

Advertising

Free-tier users may see ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. Premium subscribers do not see ads.

Payments

If you purchase CAAGER Premium, payment processing is handled by Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Data Sharing

We may share limited data with service providers only as needed to operate CAAGER, such as:

• Apple App Store for purchase processing and entitlement restoration
• Google AdMob for serving advertisements to free-tier users

We do not sell personal information.

Data Retention

Meal history, profile data, and nutrition records are stored locally on your device. You can delete them at any time by uninstalling the app. We do not retain your data on external servers.

Children's Privacy

CAAGER is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us so we can review and delete the information if appropriate.

Your Choices

• You may choose not to grant camera or photo library access, but some app features will not function without them.
• You may stop using the app at any time.
• You can manage your Premium subscription through your Apple App Store account.

Security

We use reasonable measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted with a revised effective date.
